For many years, the Ensemble Quartz has specially devoted it’s activities in developping projects around wind instruments, providing a new repertoire dedicated to various instrumental combinations and ensembles.

Like the many facets of a crystal, the Quartz Ensemble shines and reflects in formations ranging from quartets, quintets, sextets and nonet which combine beautifully woodwinds and string instruments.

The addition of voice, harp and piano further expands this palette of colors.

For five years, the Ensemble Quartz has been occasionally invited to perform in orchestral formations but remains essentially a chamber music ensemble.

Up to this day, more than a hundred musical works have been composed or arranged for the Ensemble Quartz.
